Screen, for a decade of field records
An interactive map that puts SPUN’s field sampling data on one screen — where the engineering sat upstream of the map rather than in it.
The map was the easy half
Years of research records had to be normalised and reprojected into a shape a mapping SDK could render at speed. The visible product is a map; the work was the pipeline behind it.
Research data does not arrive clean. Making it renderable without losing what makes it research is the actual engineering.
